		Scientific Publication Award for 2010 Graduate Studies and Research Sector at Mansoura University  is pleased to announce the beginning of applying for getting  the rewards incentives for scientific publication in international periodicals for researches published in 2010 and that will be till be the end of March 2011, by filling the attached form on Al-Farabi System for quality insurance,  and will not accept paper submission.

		The President’s Meeting with the Governor of Damietta Governorate The president of Mansoura University has met the Governor of Damietta Governorate in order to discuss the business of accomplishing the structures of the university’s branch in New Damietta City. 		The start of the summer activities of General Service Center The General Service Center at  The Faculty of Education of Mansoura University announces the start of the summer activities for the year 2011. It offers courses in different fields.
		The President’s meeting with the People’s  Defense-in-Chief The president of Mansoura University has met with  people’s defense-in-chief on Wednesday, the 18th of May, 2011. During that meeting, they talked about the security position of the university and the necessity of cooperation in order to preserve security and peace especially during the upcoming period of the second semester examination. Vice president of Education and Students’ Affairs  has attended the meeting as well.
		A forum entitled “ Towards a University Without Smoking”  in the Faculty of Medicine at Mansoura University The Faculty of Medicine at Mansoura University has organized a forum entitled “Towards a University Without Smoking” on Monday, the 30th of May, 2011. It was held in the  conferences’ hall of the faculty with the presence of the president of the university, the vice president of Community service and Environmental Affairs, as well as the dean of the Faculty of Medicine.
		A workshop entitled “ Preparing the Engineering and computer Science Programs to get the Academic  Accreditation ABET” The Arab Organization of Quality within the field of Education in corporation with the Arab League announces the start of a workshop entitled “Preparing the Engineering and computer Science Programs to get the Academic  Accreditation ABET”  from the fifth till the sixth of July, 2011 in the Arab League-Cairo. The deadline is by the 27th of June, 2011.

		Sciences Club of Mansoura University has achieved the first position among the other Egyptian Universities Mansoura University’s Sciences Club has won the first position in the Fourth Sciences Club Forum at Cairo University. About 17 universities have participated in this forum from the first till the fifth of May, 2011.
		Mansoura University gets the State Rewards of Appreciation for the year 2010 Professor Amr Ezzat Salama, the minister of higher education, declared that Mansoura University has obtained 6 awards within different fields.  Professor Mahmoud Abd El Kawy Zahran was rewarded and got the State Award of Appreciation withi the field of Basic Science and professor Muhammad Adel Ibrahim, the consultant at  the Urology and Nephrology Center has got the State Award of Distinction in Medicine
		Scholarships for M.A and ph.D in the University of Emirates UKE  University announces the availability of scholarships for demonstrators and assistant lectures in all fields of specialization. 		Applying for residency in the university hostels 2011/2012 In order to apply for a residency in the university hostels, you have to check this out: New students: 8/8/2011 till 15/9/2011. Senior Students: 1/8/2011 till 24/8/2011. You can fill in application  forms online  free of charge, but when you go for medical examination you have to pay for the required fees(fees of residency plus other fees)
		Mansoura University rewards its students in the Scientific Distinction Day Mansoura University has organized a celebration in the Scientific Distinction Day. This celebration was held in the Faculty of Engineering, Magdy Abo Rayan Lectures Hall, with the presence of the president of the university, vice presidents, deans of faculties as well as a good number of other teaching and co-teaching  staff members, those who were rewarded and obtained rewards of appreciation as well as the distinguished at the level of academic performance.  The units of Quality Assurance in the faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, Physical Education, and Science were also rewarded

5/6/2011		A Malaysian Delegation on a Visit to Mansoura University Professor, Ahmed Bayoumy Shehab El Din, the president of Mansoura University, has received a delegate from the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education, the Malaysian Embassy, and representatives of Mara Company granting study fees on Tuesday, the 22nd of February, 2011. Professor Ashraf Abd El Basset, the dean of the Faculty of Medicine, has attended the meeting as well.

It will be held from 2  till 6 p.m at Rashad Elbadrawy’s hall in the Faculty of Engineering. It will be attended by those who are responsible for reviewing the academic courses, the managers of Quality units, and the representatives of faculties. 4/9/2010		Helal and Kharboosh visit Mansoura University's camp in Gamassa Professor Hany Helal, the Minister of Higher Education and Academic Research, professor Safie El Din Kharboosh, the Chairman of the National Council for Youth, Major Samir Salam, the Governor of Dakahlia, and professor Ahmed Bayoumy, the President of Mansoura University, have visited the Students' Permanent Camp in Gamassa in order to witness the renewal of the camp as well as the new buildings that have been constructed there. Among these new buildings are a well-prepared restaurant with a capacity of 500 individuals and rooms for security members.
